How would I create an annotated tag (Bitbucket Cloud Api)?

hdeclerck@rivian.com June 18, 2019

Hi, I'm confused how to create an annotated tag for my latest commits using the API 2.0 version?

To me it looks like it isn't yet supported, given the REST API docs (https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/bitbucket/rest/api-group-refs/#api-repositories-workspace-repo-slug-refs-tags-post) don't mention how to include a subject/message body to the tag.  It seems the only option is to create an annotated tag locally and push it to the repo.

Oh, I'm wrong!  It creates an annotated tag, but you have no choice over the message associated with the tag.  Right now, the message is in this format: "Added tag xxx for changeset yyy".
