I trying to switch plans from standard to free. Will this affect my LFS on repository? Will I be able to access all the repositories after downgrading the plan from standard to free?

Hi @Teno Admin and welcome to the community!

If you downgrade from the Standard to the Free plan and your workspace consumes more LFS storage than the Free plan allows, your LFS files will remain in LFS storage with read-only access. You will not be able to push new LFS files.

There is also an option to have the Free with Overages plan. With this plan, if you go over the LFS limit, we add 100 GB of large file storage for $10 per month. If this is also exceeded, we add another 100 GB of large file storage for an additional $10 per month and so on. If you don't want to use that option and you opt for the Free plan without overages, you won't be able to add new LFS files.

Just a heads up, please keep in mind that we are making changes to the Free plan starting April 28, 2025. These changes affect, among other things, how much space your workspace repos can consume (excluding the LFS storage). You can read more about this here:

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Kind regards,
Theodora
