Is it possible to use an image hosted on Amazon ECR?

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Use Docker images as build environments in Bitbucket Pipelines

I have built a custom image to use during the build process and pushed it to Amazon ECR, is it possible to use this service or should I use docker hub?

It is not yet possible to use the Amazon EC2 Container Registry (ECR) with Bitbucket Pipelines. Please watch and vote for the following issue to guide Atlassian's roadmap in this regard:

• Support for Amazon ECR (#13024)
