Hello, I have a very old free account for sideprojects. A repository seems to be over 1gb because of very old files listed in the .git. Is there any way to push changes to remove (and massively reduce) this overweight so the workspace is back way below 1gb? Due to the limitation I cannot make any pushes, and since it's the .git, I cannot remove it from the web UI.
Thank you!
Hi Mark, thank you!
I have already reduced the repository size. Can you run the garbage collection?
Thank you!
Hi @mezod
Welcome to the community.
You can follow our documentation here on how to reduce your repository size using the BFG tool: https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/reduce-repository-size/
Let me know once done and I will run Git GC (Garbage Collection) against your repository to refresh the size.
Regards,
Mark C
