Jira Software and BitBucket same server

I installed Jira Software and BitBucket in the same server, when I add users from Jira I can see them in Bitbucket but unable to assign permisions to write for Jira users, is there a way to use only 1 interface for users and assign roles and permisions there instead of duplicating users 1 for Jira 1 for BitBucket and have 2 accounts for same users in both systems?

They do not have a single place to do it. A workaround would be to use JIRA (or your own LDAP) as the user directory for both applications and use groups in permissions. That way, you just need to add a user to the group and it will have the permission in both apps.

If you want to go really granular, you might end up writing a custom add-on that can manage both in one place but the group trick works for most.
