Hey guys,
Is there a way of making sure that the author of a pull request is not capable of approving its own pull request, or to merge without having all the necessary approvals?
Sorry, new to Bitbucket!
Authors can always approve their own pull requests, but the author's approval doesn't count towards any minimum approval requirement. (For example, if my pull request requires two approvals, then I can still click "Approve" - but my approval won't count as one of those two required approvals.)
As for preventing merges without necessary approvals, please see https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/suggest-or-require-checks-before-a-merge-856691474.html
Thank you @jredmond! That clears it!!
