Linking Bitbucket and JIRA

I currently have Bitbucket and Jira integration setup. I am able to create branches in Jira. However, I want to be able to restrict branch creation to the relevant bitbucket repository. How do I achieve this?

The short answer is no, you can't do that. There might be an app on the Marketplace that will do that.
