I'm opted out of newsletters etc and no desire to opt in.
Since yesterday every page I visit in bitbucket cloud displays the popup:
I can close it but on next page visit it'll show again.
When I click "No thanks" it fails with "something went wrong. please try again later"
Browser dev tools say it's a
POST to https://bitbucket.org/!api/internal/user/marketing_consentwith body
{"marketing_consent":false,"marketing_consent_verbiage":"Would you like to receive news and offers about Atlassian apps, events and more?"}returning
HTTP 500 Internal Server Errorand

"type": "error",
"error": {
"message": "Something went wrong",
"id": "c59b3cbe4bd6411ab07d8825e4d5811b"
}
}How can I shut it up permanently? Is there a secret "don't nag for a week" cookie I can set?
Hey @Tomek Duda
Welcome to the community!
Could you confirm whether the issue still occurs and if it's reproducible in a different web browser and incognito windows? I would like to eliminate any browser-specific issue that might cause the popup to reset with each new load.
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Syahrul
Hi Syahrul!
It's gone away properly after I clicked the "No thanks" now.
If it misbehaves again I'll update the thread. Thank you!
