Never end starting up the product.

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

No matter how many times I tried to use this product (bitbucket), it start preparing to start up,  but it never end, and no email is sent.  What should I do with this.  I have tried so many times, and it never happened.

Hi takao and welcome to the community!

I'm sorry to hear that you've had trouble starting up the product. I am not able to reproduce this issue now, so I'm not sure what might have happened, but I recommend the following:

First, ensure you are using a supported browser:

Since you already have an Atlassian account with your email address, follow these steps on a supported browser:

  1. Log in to https://id.atlassian.com/.
  2. Then, use this link to create an Atlassian Organization: https://admin.atlassian.com/o/create (every Bitbucket workspace needs to be created inside an organization).
  3. After the organization is created, look at the menu bar at the top of the page. Next to the item called Directory, there will be an item called either Apps or Products. Select whichever of the two you see.
  4. On the new page that opens, there will be a blue button near the top right corner with the text Add app or Add product. Select whichever of the two you see.
  5. On the next page, you can select Bitbucket and and click the button Select.
  6. You will be asked to provide a Workspace Name and Workspace ID, and then select Agree and add.
  7. When the setup finishes, you can either select Manage users (this will take you back to the Atlassian Organization, where you can manage users) or Go to Bitbucket (this will open the Bitbucket workspace).
