Pipeline RBAC

I'm currently evaluating bitbucket pipelines and it doesn't look like there is any concept of RBAC. We would like to limit production deployments to a specific group of users. I can't be the only person who has brought this up so i'm reaching out to the community for suggestions. I know I could embed some logic in a pipeline script but if the point is to limit deployments from developers to product managers, that implementation isn't really removing access.
