Problem with stash backup on nfs mount

Is anyone else having this issue? When we run the stash backup using the java command line tool, it runs fine if the stash data lives on the local file system, but if we run it with the data on a nfs mount (netapp), it freezes up around 11%. What's the deal?

Hi Derek,

Stash developer here. I'm not 100% about this one. We've just had another customer run into a deadlock on his backup client, although that was at 75% and not on NFS (at least as far as I can tell).

Either way could I bother you to raise a support ticket so we can get you to attach your logs? In addition, if you could reproduce the freezing and then run a command called 'jstack' (which should be installed with the JDK already) on both the backup client and stash processes, and attach those to the ticket.

Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this shortly.
