This is very bad for business guys. I would have at least downloaded the zip archives had I known you were going to put the kybosh on years of work.
How can I trust Atlassian for my ongoing projects, certainly it would have been my go-to as soon as projects become solvent I would have become a patron. Now I don't see this happening and will work to move all of my repositories elsewhere.

If yes, could you provide a repository name that was deleted?

I attempted to but there is no option for restoration. They don't let you simply submit a ticket, they force you through a workflow which does not have an appropriate option.
