I've been reading the following article about enabling 2FA at the BitBucket Account Level: https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/enable-two-step-verification/
I want to fully understand the implications of this setup before applying it to a client.
My question is, if we enable 2FA according to this article, and the user loses access to their Authenticator 2FA Application (such as Google Authenticator) as well as their recovery codes, is there any way to regain access to their account?
Or is access to their account permanently lost?

Users can request a reset to regain access to their account if something happens, such as changing to a new device. We have detailed information in our knowledge base below; please review it.
