Hi there. My organization uses Jira Server v7.12.3. We're looking to modify one of our Jira projects which would include changing the Project Name and Project Key.
We have an application link in our Jira instance to Bitbucket so that dev tools info (commits and pull requests) appear on tickets in Jira.
Are there any negative implications of changing a Project's Key related to this Bitbucket integration? The project that needs to change Keys does indeed have some tickets with Development information from Bitbucket displayed.
We're just wondering what risks there are here, and what to expect when we execute the Project Key change and reindex.
Thanks!
It might break the Bitbucket integration as the information on the developer panel is pulled in using the issue keys.
