Hi,

is there any feature where I can see that there are changes made by other people and prompting for us to pull the latest amendments?

PJ

Howdy PJ,

It sounds to me like Bitbucket Server's Post-Receive Webhooks may be exactly what you're looking for.

Webhooks in Bitbucket Server let you send out requests from Bitbucket Server to other systems when certain events happen, which can definitely include messaging services to notify you and your team.

These webhooks can be used for the following types of events in Bitbucket Server:

Repository events

  • Push
  • Modified
  • Forked
  • Comment added to commit
  • Comment edited on commit
  • Comment deleted on commit

Pull request events

  • Opened
  • Approved
  • Unapproved
  • Needs work
  • Merged
  • Declined
  • Deleted
  • Comment added
  • Comment edited
  • Comment deleted

For more info on this feature, the article for Bitbucket Server webhooks can be found at the following location:

Let me know if this points you in the right direction for being able to get these notifications set up for you and your team, or if you have any questions regarding the link above!

Thanks,

Evan
