Hi Guys,

I have a fresh install of bitbucket and am trying to enable SSL but i dont have a server.xml or a bitbucket.properties file in my bitbucket home directory or anywhere on the server.

I used the https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver0414/securing-bitbucket-server-with-tomcat-using-ssl-895368088.html resource to enable ssl but cant see any of the files they reference. I have a keystore I am using for another app that I will use for the SSL as both apps run on the same server

Can someone please assist?

Hi Lloyd,

The instructions you have are for version 4.14 - the ones relevant to you are at https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/securing-bitbucket-server-with-tomcat-using-ssl-776640127.html

By default the bitbucket.properties file does not exist, so you'll need to create it yourself in the <BitbucketHome>/shared directory.

Cheers,

Christian
