Hello
For the past few days, I have been unable to log into my Bitbucket account because I deleted my authentication entry on my authenticator app. How can I reset my code? I tried using the "Forgot Code" option which is supposed to send me an email, but I'm not receiving any emails...
Thank you in advance for your feedback.
Welcome to the community!
I have reviewed our outbound email logs for your Bitbucket Cloud account, and they indicate that all emails sent to you have been successfully delivered. The most recent recovery email was sent 15 hours ago.
Could you please check your junk/spam folder or your trash to see if the email might have been incorrectly filtered there? Thank you!
- Phil
Thank you.
I'm sorry, but I cannot find any record of this email. The only one I received, following my request, is:
We received your request to recover access to your Bitbucket account. In 24 hours, we will send you an email with a one-time login to provide you access to your account. The 24-hour waiting period is a necessary security measure to prevent an unauthorized person from gaining access to and exploiting your account.
If you didn't request to recover your account or no longer want to continue with this process, you can cancel it by logging in to your account.
If you have any further issues with your Bitbucket account recovery, contact support
Cheers,
The Bitbucket Cloud team
