Does bitbucket have a commit status api like github?

No, available API endpoints are listed here, and there is nothing remotely similar.:

I'm not particularly surprised, since the functionality you are looking for is not a standard Git feature.

Thanks for your answer. I saw those rest APIs too. I was just wondering if there was something i missed.

I realise it is not a git feature. It is, however, a very usefull one.
