GIT client update

I'm using CENTOS 7.4.1708 with git client version 1.8.3.1.

I've done a test to check "GIT_CURL_VERBOSE=1 git ls-remote." and SSL connection using TLS_ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256.

Can someone point me to a guide to force use of TLSv1.2?
