How do I connect to my existing database when upgrading Stash

I upgraded stash. Now it wants to initialize my database. I'd prefer NOT to loose my existing data. How do I avoid the automatic stash installation, and just configure it.

Follow the upgrade guide the details. In short you need to point the new stash installation's STASH_HOME to the existing STASH_HOME.

ah.. that's obvious now... sorry, I was thinking STASH_HOME was the application software home rather than my local config location. Now its working.
