How do I set fork to autosync with parent repo?

I'm currently having trouble trying to keep my fork of a repository in sync with the parent repository. I would like to have my repo set to automatically fast-forward changes whenever any of the branches in the parent repo are updated.

I followed the tutorial which said to go into Settings -> Fork Syncing to enable the option to auto sync with a parent, however there doesn't appear to be anything related to Fork Syncing under my settings for the repo. Is that tutorial out of date? Is there any other way for me to enable autosyncing?

I currently have a workaround where I can make pull requests to fast-forward merge each of the branches from the parent to the fork manually each time a team member pushes to the parent, but it's a huge pain to have to that.

Hello @Vince,

Welcome to the Community.

I'm guessing you referring to this page? It's about Bitbucket Server, not Cloud. Unfortunately, automatic fork syncing is not available in Bitbucket Cloud. There's a feature request for this, please vote for it to increase it's popularity, write a comment or add yourself as a watcher to be updated of further notifications.

There's a button to sync the fork in Bitbucket Cloud, but it has to be clicked manually.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Daniil
