How oftens does Bitbucket sync with JIRA On Demand?

Basically, the bitbucket information visible on the story is not always up to date. We often have to manually click the Sync Repo icon.

I know this is not what you asked but I've seen people are very confused in what this sync between the two apps mean. To make sure you understand check the Getting started and more important this section:
