How to compare files using scriptrunner in a pre-hook ?

Hello, I am currently working on a pre-hook that have the purpose of checking files and executing a regex based on the files found. Something similar to this example :

if conanfile.txt

Regex A here

else

Regex B.

I can't seems to make it work and i'm kinda lost, is this actually possible ?
