BitBucket server is lacking documentation on how to create a BitBucket API token. Given that this is the new recommendation after phasing out app passwords, it would be nice if we (Databricks Git folders product) could point to some documentation for our users on how to create an API token in BitBucket server like this one:
https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/create-an-api-token/
The only documentation you have is on access tokens: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/http-access-tokens-939515499.html, which Databricks does not support because it requires bearer auth. We are hoping to fix that but need an answer here:
Can you please document the types of tokens available in BitBucket server 9.6 and how to create an API token there if it is supported so that we can point to it?
Welcome to the Atlassian Community @Grant Eaton !
See if the following suggested solution will help, if not I will request Atlassian's help:https://stackoverflow.com/questions/70393902/how-do-i-obtain-an-http-access-token-from-a-bitbucket-repository-on-bitbucket-cl
Best,

@Tinker Fadoua I am requesting for a documentation link that I can point to in our product at Databricks (Git folders) so that when user's want to create api tokens in bitbucket server i can point to up to date documentation on how to do that. I cannot point to a stack overflow article on it, I need official public documentation on the topic.
