I get 1GB limit error. I have removed some repos that use a lot of storage and now should be under <1GB but the error still appears. Please help me

Checking internally, I can see none of the workspaces you have access to are currently over the 1GB size limit, so we assume you were able to delete/clean some additional repositories to free up space.

Workspaces on Free plan
As announced on the Bitbucket Cloud blog https://www.atlassian.com/blog/bitbucket/important-changes-coming-to-bitbucket-clouds-free-plan workspaces on a Free plan have a size limit of 1GB of total repository storage within the workspace.

Atlassian previously announced updates to the Free plan through a blog post and email, including a 1GB limit on workspace storage. You can find more details below:
NOTE: If you want, we can request Atlassian to execute Garbage collection to get some space.
