Is Visual Studio 2015 still compatible with the latest access changes?

I use Visual Studio 2015 with the Visual Studio Bitbucket extension. I've read about the new login method, but can't logged in.

Help me, please

Welcome to the Bitbucket Cloud community.

Assuming you have read through our documentation related to the change and have successfully configured an App Password in Bitbucket Cloud, please try the following configuration:

GIT URL - https://workspaceID@bitbucket.org/

USERNAME - workspaceID

PASSWORD - AppPassword

This community answer highlights a similar issue for VS 2017/2019 using the Bitbucket extension, the same should apply for VS 2015:
