License re-use

We have bitbucket servert currently running 4.13 version with 100 license.

No renewals happened meaning are we not liable to use the bitbucket server ?

if liable still to continue to use this 100 license then can we use this 100 license on the latest version of bitbucket server ?

Hi @rajeshbs,

You are correct that you can upgrade to to version 5.14 with your existing license without having to renew the license with Atlassian.

However, I'd recommend reviewing the release & upgrade notes as it looks like you will be skipping quite a few versions, and you may need to upgrade to an intermediate version before going all the way to 5.14.

I just saw this message in the bitbucket server 4.13 .." Support and updates for Atlassian Bitbucket ended on 03 Oct 2018. Updates released after this date are not valid with this license. Renew your license "

Bitbucket Server 5.15 - 18 October 2018 - I can't use existing license as per atlassian license and upgrade release ?

Bitbucket Server 5.14 - 11 September 2018 - i can use the existing license ? Am i right ? Please clarrify.

Please let me know whether i can upgrade the bitbucket from 4.13 to 5.14 without renewing the license ?
