Need help to reduce reposity size (> 8GB).

Hi,

My repository size suddenly increased to >8GB, I had already followed the link to try reducing it, but git push -- force is not allowing (repository is in read-only mode).

I had tried git gc too, but still not working...

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out here.

When you performed the steps outline in the documentation, did it help reduce the size of the repository ?

A third party tool can be helpful for investigating the size of repositories, because you indicated that the size suddenly increased to > 8g.

Should there be some issues with the repository, this may be able to track it. Then we can figure out the cause of the sudden increase in size of the repository.

My repo size was reduced to 1.6 gb now after submitted a request to Bitbucket Support.
