Why we need to install PuTTY for BitBucket?
You would generally use PuTTY to be able to connect to your repository using SSH.
For example, when you git clone a git:// repository, it's using SSH to connect.
You don't have to use it as you can also access your repository using http/https.
How PuTTY is helpful with BitBucket? As i am moving my repository to BitBucket with mercurial & my developers will commit using Tortoise Hg then what is the use of PuttY in BitBucket?
Why BitBucket requires to install PuTTY as Step?
