is it possible to give restricted access to a user who cannot see certain branches and projects ,repo in bitbucket . if so please provide me steps .

Hi Seema,

You  can restrict access to repositories and project using respectively:

• Using Repository permissions
• Using Project permissions

Still is not possible to provide a level of permission that will prevent users the read access to specific brances once the user has permissions to access the repository (read or write).

Two possible mitigations for this are:

• Branch permissions - that will permit to prevent certain users to push on specific branches
• Keep sensitive changes to the main repository private by using Forks - this will permit to have some areas of the development restricted to specific users/groups until the code is ready to be merged.
