Push and pull request difference

Hi All,

After Pushing the changes to branch and also for successful merged the pull-request , for both the cases control will comes to PostReceiveRepositoryHook's public void postReceive().

How can we differentiate. whether the postReceive() called for pushing or merging.

For the case with the pull request, you will see one of these refs in the refChanges collection.

I didn't find the differences...I debugged it and for both same set of variables are there..how can I get to know whether my post-hook called after push or after pull-request.
