Hi Dávid, welcome to the Community!

I understand you're getting that error message, but you didn't provide any context to help us understand what is your situation. Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, please give us some more context, as for example:

  1. Which platform are you using, Server or Cloud?
  2. Is there an existing connection between Jira and Bitbucket?
  3. Which instructions did you follow?
  4. Are you the admin?

Let us know,

Ana

I am encountering the same issue. I tried connecting a bitbucket account to our Jira account. The connection appeared to be successful, but then immediately complained about invalid credentials. Now the connection isn't appearing in either Bitbucket or Jira, btu when I try to connect again it gives me the "A Jira admin needs to remove the connection in Jira before you can connect via Bitbucket" message.

Same here. How we can resolve it?

Hi All this error is related to authorization and occurs when Bitbucket attempts to install the Jira add-on that supports the integration. It's not an expected state however as I expect you are an admin of the repository where the connection is being made. It's possible that uninstalling the "Jira" add-on via `Bitbucket Settings > Installed Apps` and attempting the connection again may resolve the issue. If not please open a support ticket via http://support.bitbucket.org/contact so that we can investigate the problem in your repository.
