AI Assisted code review

Hello,

can anyone spill some light on when AI assisted code review feature will become available for cloud BitBucket? 

I joined Atlassian AI Beta program months ago and it is enabled for all our products including BitBucket but I do not see any promised features and the Roadmap still says "coming soon in Q4 2023".

Am I doing something wrong or is it not out yet?

If it is not out yet, do you have any idea when to expect it?

We are on the premium plan

@Theodora Boudale we as an organisation are looking to use AI based code-reviewers in our current development cycle. We are looking at multiple tools and comparing them before finalising. 

We have following requirements and would like your expertise if Atlassian CRA satisfies these: 

Once a PR is created, the assistant should semantically analyse the code, understand what the task is for the PR, and find : 

• vulnerabilities,
• security leaks,
• code quality issues,
• code style improvements

Add appropriate comments on the PR highlighting the improvements and suggestions (if any).

Atlassian Intelligence in Bitbucket is a feature of the editor in the pull request description and comments. It can be used to write pull request descriptions, generate comments, change the tone of your comments. It cannot find vulnerabilities, security leaks, code quality issues or code style improvements in your code.

If you use Bitbucket Pipelines, there are pipes that you can use to check for these things during a Pipelines build. You can find a list of available pipes in the following link (there is also an option to search based on keywords):

Bitbucket Cloud also has an integration with Snyk that checks for vulnerabilities in your code:

@Syahrul Your link is only about the AI help in bitbucket to write nicer PR summaries and comments but it is not about AI assisted code reviews where the AI is also provided feedback on the code changes.

I would like to see something similar available in bitbucket that exist in github PRs nowadays, where copilot is assignable as a reviewer.
It is a real time-saver and would help to stay with bitbucket and Jira that I like since many many years.

So is something like that planned?

1. AI Code reviewer (in open BETA, available on Standard and Premium plan)

Code Reviewer automatically checks your pull requests and highlights quality, security, and performance issues in your code. It finds problems like typos and logical bugs, and suggests best practice improvements for code quality and maintainability. Code Reviewer will add code suggestions for the generated comments, so that you can automatically apply the change with the press of a button, without opening your IDE.
