I missed the deadline to get my Free Bitbucket account below the 1GB threshold (I thought we had until the last day of April, i.e. today). I have gone through and deleted repositories from my workspace to get below the 1GB limit, but my account is still in read-only mode. How can I fix this?
G'day, @knorthrop
Welcome to the community!
We haven't made any change of this yet as the restriction has been pushed back to May 29, 2025 to give customers more time to make adjustments needed to their free workspaces.
Having said that, I notice you have multiple large repository in your workspace so check out our documentation here on how to reduce the repository size further

Thanks @Syahrul. I saw that I had one repository that was 1.1gb and two that were between 100mb-300mb. I've since untracked and removed the upload files from the 1.1gb repo, which should make it quite small. However, the size does not seem to be adjusting in the dashboard and when I look at the workspace storage used in my workspace plan details it says 1.93gb. However it should definitely be under the 1gb cap for the free plan now. Can you investigate why the repo size and workspace storage values have not updated yet?

Hey @knorthrop
There are still large files in your 1.1 GB repository. To further reduce them please check our guide here and use BFG tools to remove the large files. This should help reduce your repository size further.

Hey @knorthrop
Deleting the repository will indeed reduce the workspace storage usage. I can see that your workspace size usage is now around 800MB++. You can check this under your workspace settings as well.
