Currently, azure-web-apps-deploy pipeline only deploys to the Azure public cloud. In order to use this to deploy to any other azure cloud other than an azure public cloud (AzureUSGovernment...), the cloud name should be something that could be changed in pipe.sh.
I create a PR to alter that using an environment variable. atlassian / azure-web-apps-deploy / Pull Request #14: Allow depploymen to none public azure clouds — Bitbucket Please let us know if this can be merged or if the feature can be added. Thanks
Hi @Hunde.Keba and welcome to the community.
Thank you for the suggestion and the PR.
We accept contributions to Atlassian pipes, however, they require testing and review.
We will consider your PR and evaluate it when we can.
Kind regards,
Theodora
Thank you, @Theodora Boudale . I will wait to hear back from the team. FYI This is crucial for all government applications hosted on bitbucket. Our team is currently migrating applications hosted on-premise to Azure gov cloud and the current azure pipeline provided by Atlassian doesn't support deploying to Azure gov cloud. The dev team wants to keep using bitbucket for a repository but, this will be determining factor whether we need to move our repository to other services or not. Once again thank you for your support.
