Asking for somone else's password

A colleague gave me a project COPY/PASTE which I had.

I opened it in Visual Studio and even tough I deleted it from VS and from my repository I still get asked to enter his password 'Bitbucket Login' using SourceTree

How can I not get this messagebox again?

My understanding is that a colleague shared some code with you, you tried to open it in Visual Studio, and then in Sourcetree you were asked by his Bitbucket password.  

Assuming everything is normal and you just have a password prompt that keeps showing up, my recommendation would be to search this Community as several users have experienced this, here are some examples:

• Sourcetree keeps asking for login and password 
• Why does repo cloning ask for a password? 
• Sourcetree keeps asking for wrong account password 

If that doesn't solve it we'll need you to answer some questions to understand why is this happening:

1. Does your colleague have this repository stored in Bitbucket Cloud?
2. Hod did he share it with you?
3. Do you have this repository now in your Bitbucket account?
4. Can you confirm that Sourcetree is asking for his Bitbucket password and not yours?
5. Can you send us a screenshot of when Sourcetree is asking you for the password?
6. What kind of permissions do you have for this repository (write, read, admin)?

1.  Yes we are on the same company but different usernames

2. I copied the full projects folder and opened it on my Visual Studio

3. I remove it and opened a new one with my account BUT even if i remove this repository I continuously get asked for a user/password.
