Hi Support,

Our bit bucket server has been working until recently we are unable to login to the system. We are seeing the set up page again. This already has a previous production data.

Hi Louie! That happens because they BITBUCKET_HOME is pointing to an empty data directory, you can read more at https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/bitbucket-server-home-directory-776640890.html

This can also hame if the correct one was unset, deleted, or a new one was defined.

Hope that helps!

Hello Team, Without seeing logs or anything it seems Bitbucket thinks its a new install. This probably due to one of 2 things

1. Your $BITBUCKET_HOME directory has been unset or set to another directory. Make sure your %BITBUCKET_HOME var is set correctly

2. Your $BITBUCKET_HOME directory was deleted or cleaned of it previous file. In this case, you will have to restore your $BITBUCKET_HOME directory.

I hope this helps
