Bitbucket using different email than Atlassian Community account...

I would like to use my work email for the Bitbucket repos account but a separate one for forum accounts like this, and I noticed that my "single-sign on" Atlassian account was being used for Bitbucket but in the profile settings it had my forum account...

I changed the Bitbucket account to my work email, and if I check settings on this forum, it has my forum email (with the links saying to edit my Atlassian account), so I'm confused on how both accounts can be using my Atlassian account but different email addresses...

I'm perfectly fine the way it's split, I just don't want forum replies suddenly going to my work email or my Bitbucket notifications suddenly going to my forum email... can someone explain or clarify or let me know if everything's fine already?

To investigate what? I'm just asking how it's supposed to work. I'm not saying there's a problem; I'm not even sure how it works.
