MIGRATE BITBUCKET FROM ONE ACCOUNT TO ANOTHER

Hi Guys

I created an Account on Bitbucket (Repository Code Purpose) then I created an Account on Jira with different Email Address, Now I need to migrate /Switch Bitbucket with JIRA but since we have differentes accounts is not Possible.

We are the same Company so we need to switch Bitbucket with Jira...How it is possible to swith Bitbucket and Jira with differents Accounts?

Hi Manuel,

Both Bitbucket Cloud and JIRA Cloud use Atlassian accounts (the one for https://id.atlassian.com/) for authentication. If you use the same email for both products, you can then log in to both with the same credentials via the same Atlassian account and switch between the two products.

If you use a different email for each product, then there are two different Atlassian accounts and you can't be logged in to both at the same browser session.

The solution to that would be to use the same email address for both Bitbucket Cloud and JIRA. If you are ok with this, you will need assistance from the support team to achieve this.

You can open a support ticket via https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/. In the field "What can we help you with?" select "Technical issues and bugs" and then Bitbucket Cloud as product.

You can copy-paste your question from here, but please also mention
1. The email your use for JIRA
2. The email you use for Bitbucket Cloud
3. Which email you would like to use for both products moving forward

I can assist you as well, but I'll need to know the email info above as well. If you don't want to share it here for privacy reasons, you can open a support ticket the way I explained above.

The community account that you used to post this question has an email different than the two ones you have provided me. For security reasons, we need the request to be coming from the email of the account owner.
