No write access when writing test reports

I'm following these instructions for creating tets reports for my Mocha tests. Everything first appeared to be working: tests marked as successful and I got a nice little indicator showing the amount of successful tests run. But then I looked closer and saw in the build log:

$ mocha --recursive test/unit --reporter mocha-junit-reporter --reporter-options mochaFile=./test-reports/unit_tests.xml{ PermissionError: No write access.

Anyone know what's up here? In my bitbucket-pipelines.yml I'm using the node:10.9 image for this step. I have made no other special configurations and this is the first step to run.

Appears to be working now, even though I haven't made any changes.
