Hi team,
I have a question regarding the use of the renovate/renovate:37.6-full
image in our Renovate scan pipeline. Is it necessary to continue using this specific version?
Additionally, is it possible to update to the latest image and potentially use a lighter version to optimize performance and reduce resource usage?
I'm getting a docker exceeded memory
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
I have checked the commit history for the pipe and can see that the renovate version used is indeed 37.6-full.
I have shared your query with our pipes engineers and will get back to you once I have a response from them.
Just to clarify - do you mean a version of a smaller filesize without the "full" tag as per the existing tags in Dockerhub?
Cheers!

Hi!
Thanks for the quick reply!
I noticed that the non-full images are smaller, with the full images being around 1.5 GB compared to approximately 328.47 MB for the others. Is there a specific reason for not choosing the smaller images? Additionally, is there any reason you haven’t switched to version 38 yet?
Thanks!

Our pipes team have confirmed that they are working toward updating to a later version (version 38) and this should be in the next release - they are also in the process of investigating the memory limit issues. I don't have an ETA for this release.
In terms of the image size, this should not impact on the performance of the pipe. Although, we have raised a feature request to use the slim version of the image - you can Watch this for future updates:

HI @Claudia Ballano Sanchez @Ben
We have released a new version of the renovate-scan pipe based on
script: - pipe: atlassian/renovate-scan:0.6.0 variables: CONFIG_FILE_PATH: '<your-config.yaml>'
There were no memory issues detected by our team.
But, if you have still struggled with, you could follow the next guides:
https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/step-options/#Size
https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/databases-and-service-containers/
Best regards,
Oleksandr Kyrdan
