The logfile is flooded with messages of the kind
2017-10-10 13:45:28,148 DEBUG [hercules] c.a.s.DefaultSisyphusPatternMatcher Current Pattern being evaluated: com.atlassian.sisyphus.SisyphusPattern@48be78de
I suppose it is not normal behavior, so what do we have to set that it stops?
Hi Andreas, Sisyphus is part of the Support Tools plugin. Those lines showing there can mean that someone is opening Support tools to scan the system, or it's doing some activity in the background.
I can see that the debug mode is enabled, so all the activity will be shown on it. Did you enable the debug for any reason? If not, you can disable it to avoid getting the logs so flooded.
Regards,
Ana
Thank you for this hint, at least we know now why this happened.
The reason to enable the debut are problems with the ldap-connectivity which seem to be topic of a recent kb-article.
We are now trying to proceed with the hints given there, if the principle problems persist, we will come up again here.

Disable the debug logging did not stop the cluttering of the logfile when scanning the logfile in support tools. Is there another trick?

Dear Ana, the question is still open how the flooding can be inhibited.
