What is the best way to access the database from Bitbucket?

I try to access the Bitbucket database from my plugin to retrieve some information about the addons. What is the best way to connect with it's database? Is there any easy way to do it?

Hi Joel! Are you referring to the embedded database? Did you already have a look at Accessing Bitbucket Server embedded database.

When i try to connect to an external database from the plugin that i am writing, how can i do that? Everytime i try to add the JDBC driver in my plugin, it either doesn't find it, or the OSGI container cant resolve the package. How can i do that?
