Please run git gc on private repos, we're trying to reduce the size which is over limit
Specifically el***yes and se***18 repos.
Please let me know if there is a way to trigger this otherwise?
Thanks
Thanks Mark. I just force pushed a new commit, but I don't understand why it's not cleaning up.
When doing a fresh clone of the repo the local .git dir is only 224K
git-sizer also reports a single file
Thanks for you help
Benjamin
Unfortunately, the repo size remains the same.
Could you confirm if you're following our official documentation here on how to reduce repository size using the BFG tool? - https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/reduce-repository-size/
If not yet, could you try to follow that see how it goes?

I think I did something similar, at least same as of the se***18 repo. Can there be some hidden refs on the server? when cloning with --mirror I only download 136K
Could you please try git gc on the resa repo as well please? I just forced pushed a whole new history, the size should be about ~80M now

Hi @Benjamin Denoziere
I've run GC for the resa repo, could you check the size now?
For the other repo, could you try using the BFG tool again to reduce the size and let me know once done?
I'll run GC again.
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Mark C

Welcome to the community.
I went ahead and run Git GC on those repositories.
However, for the repo el***yes, the size remains the same.
Could you try to reduce it again and let me know once done so that I can run GC?
Regards,
Mark C
