Did you mean:

where is Notification Settings tab (for pull request)

ORAN MATZA January 5, 2020

Hello

We work with bitbucket server and I have admin rights

(didn't set up the server but got it to my hand)

I know that when a pull request is done, the reviewers, watchers and admin should get email, but from some reason it stopped working on our system

I searched where in the settings I configure the email notification, and I found this article

https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/notifications-776639933.html

but I don't find the "Notification settings tab" mention there

(and I also not sure that what I need is setting "my" notification

I want to set all the reviewers settings to get pull request notification)

BTW: the email server is working fine and when I press "test" it sends me an email

Can you help ?

  Thanks

Hi ORAN,

I have laid down the steps to enable notifications and manage the same on Bitbucket Repositories:

If a user is a participant on the pull request such as a reviewer in this case, by default Bitbucket enables the notification and e-mails will be sent to his inbox when there is a pull request raised even if the user chooses to unwatch notifications.
That said, to further watch the repository and the get updates please follow the below steps as described:
1. Go to repository > Source
2. On the top right, click 'Three dots' drop-down, and click the second option 'Manage notification'.
3. You will see a prompt, like this Screenshot:

4. Using this prompt, you can subscribe to get notifications for the following options: ['All pull requests', 'All commits', 'All forks', 'All pipelines']
5. Please note, you will only be notified for the options you have checked.

If you observe, there a link below in prompt "Manage all notifications", clicking this will take you to the central notification section under settings of your account. Consider this section as the way to manage configured notifications. This section is ideally used to disable notification for a specific option (like repo, pull request etc).

Please note you will not receive notification for the actions you are performing (except for failed pipelines builds). Which means you will only be notified if your team member having access to the same repository (you're watching) perform any action amongst 'create pull requests', 'Do a commits', 'perform fork operation' or 'execute pipelines':

For further details please reference the document: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/manage-email-notifications-for-watched-objects-325321743.html

Hope this helps. :)

hello
I use server version. not cloud version.
when I open repository->source I don't have 3 dots on the top right (or anywhere else) except for 3 dots of something that give me option to checkout, copy and so on.
