Hi Atlassian team and community,

I’ve cleaned the full Git history of my Bitbucket Cloud repository `deoleg/laravel.proj` using `git filter-repo`, and force-pushed a new, much smaller version (~550MB locally). However, Bitbucket still shows 2.4 GB as the repository size.

Is it possible to trigger a garbage collection (git gc) or a size recalculation to reflect the new actual size?

Thanks in advance!

G'day, @deoleg

Welcome to the community!

I have triggered GC on the affected repository, which is now 500+MB. Can you please confirm that?

Regards,
Syahrul
