Hey @Raphael Bitter

Welcome to the community!

Could you please share a bit more about this workspace that is no longer active? For example, did it get deactivated? If so, was it because it was an old workspace you no longer have access to, or was there another reason?

Thanks!

Hello @Raphael Bitter ,

Recovering a Bitbucket workspace that is no longer active may depend on how much time has passed since it was deactivated (or deleted) and why it became inactive.

In any case, it's best to contact Atlassian Support as soon as possible; they may still be able to assist you if the deletion or deactivation was recent: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/

If your workspace was deleted within the last 7 days, there might be some hope for restore.

Also, check with your team; someone may have created a backup (via a snapshot or a third-party tool, like GitProtect). If so, you may be able to restore your repositories and data into a new Bitbucket workspace.

Good luck,

Daria

Hello @Raphael Bitter

If you have not received the email from Atlassian stating that your workspace is not deleted, then yes. It is possible to retrieve the Bitbucket Workspace.

Just reach out to admin who has access to Bitbucket Workspace and you will get the acess.

If the person who had the admin access to Bitbucket Workspace has left the organization, you can consult Atlassian Support Team to get the necessary support.

Thanks,
Pramodh
