Support for 2FA in Bitbucket Server?

Hi Team,

We are using Bitbucket server in our organization and so far everything is fine with its support and features.

The only disadvantage that we see is the support for 2FA in Bitbucket Server.

Is there any possibilities to bring this working (as a part of application itself) in any futture releases of Bitbucket server ? I know this discussion had been going so far, but still we haven't got any update from Atlassian.

2FA becomes the most essential requirement and would be better if its supported asap !

As of now, we have gone through the external plugin "Two factor Authentication for Bitbucket" , which has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Would really like to hear from you on this and please suggest like what could be the best way to implement 2FA in Bitbucket server ?
