TLS 1.0 Support Loss Has Killed all my HG repos

jphughes December 20, 2018

Since the dropping of support for TLS 1.0 I have lost all ability to push anything to any of my HG repos.  I was originally using TortoisHg workbench to do this and then all of a sudden started getting that wrong ssl version number issue.  Loaded the repo in source tree and if I try to push my local commits it doesn't do anything.  Say's there's nothing to push even though the commits are sitting right there and definitely are not in bitbucket.

So..how  do you fix mercurial repos after the loss of TLS 1.0?  Sure seems like this broke all support.

What version of TortoiseHg?

jphughes December 21, 2018

I was using 3.2.1.  Attempted to update and ran into an issue with the installer.

Issue reported here:

https://bitbucket.org/tortoisehg/hgtk/issues/1573/cant-install-tortoise-hg-x64-on-imac-27-i7

Found the solution here:

Once I managed to get the newer version updated, my push issues were resolved.
