Transfer deployment environment variables

I came to this challenge recently, while we need to migrate several hundred repositories from one Bitbucket cloud team to another. Though, we couldn't find any bulk update feature or REST api to do this, we found out the UI based "Transfer Repository" feature to be useful.

Now, the part we were hoping would work was the repository level deployment configurations like - environments, variables in them etc. But, we're seeing even though the environment got moved over to the new team, the variables in all these environment disappeared! 

Any pointer or idea on how to achieve this? Is it something not supported at present? I couldn't find any article or document suggesting the possibility of this.

Yes, currently some data in pipelines will get lost during repository transfer. Relevant issue in our bug tracking system - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BCLOUD-18453
